Save With Sam!

The State Auditor is charged with 4 primary responsibilities:

• Accounting for all of the State’s Funds
• Paying bills incurred by the State (Accounts Payable)
• Paying the State’s employees
• Disbursing tax distributions to local government units

In short, the State Auditor spends your tax dollars. 

 

I believe these responsibilities uniquely enable the State Auditor to:

• Constantly look for ways to save and conserve tax dollars
• Hold vendors and state agencies accountable for their usage of public funds

Over the course of my campaign, I look forward to sharing detailed ideas related to these basic premises so you can learn how you, the taxpayer, can Save With Sam!
